Hafza Asghar
Hafza Asghar is a Ph.D. student in Nanotechnology at the University of Trieste, where she carries out her research activities within the CHIRAX group. She obtained an M.Phil. in Polymer Science from the University of the Punjab (Lahore, Pakistan). Her research centers on the synthesis and engineering of chiral nanomaterials to precisely control their structural, optical, and electronic properties, employing advanced spectroscopic techniques, e.g. synchrotron radiation–based X-ray absorption spectroscopy and polarized light spectroscopies, to investigate their electronic structure and light–matter interactions. Her work aims to develop a deeper understanding of the relationship between nanoscale structure, chirality, and emerging optical and electronic functionalities for advanced materials applications.
